Benefits of Membership

The Los Angeles Chapter presents harp concerts, workshops and other educational events; annually awards scholarships to young harp students; and hosts other fun events where we gather to celebrate the harp and to socialize with other harp enthusiasts.

Some events are for members only, other events are free for members or have a reduced admission for members.

Our diverse membership is comprised of harp students of all levels and all ages, harp teachers, amateur and professional players of both lever harp and pedal harp, composers and arrangers, harp vendors, harp music fans, and other friends of the harp.

Members can log-in to this site to access members-only content, like newsletters, flyers, and other chapter documents.

School-age members can earn community-service credit for helping out at events.

Joining/Renewing Online

Please join via the PayPal links below. The membership will renew yearly on a rolling basis.

Please print out and keep your PayPal receipt as proof of membership, in lieu of a membership card.
If you are buying a gift membership for someone else, please enter that information, including the person’s name and email address, on PayPal’s payment page where you can “Add special instructions to the seller.”

For chapter voting privileges, membership in the American Harp Society (national) is also required: please visit harpsociety.org/Membership.
(Please note that chapter membership and national membership are separate. Chapter membership is not included with national membership, and vice-versa.)

Regular Membership: $35/year

Student Membership (school age or full time student): $25/year

Senior Membership (65+): $25/year
