May 5, 2013 was the chapter's annual Spring Fling concert for the benefit of the Valeria Finzi scholarship fund, which annually awards scholarships to a few of our chapter's most promising young harp students. At each Spring Fling, attendees are treated to performances by the scholarship recipients as well as a special musical guest, followed by a reception. Tina Lenert and Mike Caveney generously welcomed the chapter to hold the celebration in their beautiful Pasadena home.

After hearing from the scholarship recipients, we were treated to an energetic and exciting set by renowned jazz harpist Lori Andrews and her husband, bassist Bart Samolis.
