Holiday Harp Extravaganza XXVII

December 13, 2025 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Harp Society of Los Angeles presents its 27th annual Holiday Harp Extravaganza, in the lobby of Huntington Memorial Hospital. This program is a beloved institution in the chapter — harpists are welcome to come and participate in as few or as many pieces as they’d like.

The program will start at 12:00 PM, but participants should arrive between 11:00-11:15 a.m.

See the attached document for more information. Bring your own harp, bench or stool, music stand, and music. Teachers are encouraged to bring their students and play along with them. All of the music is playable on either lever harp or pedal harp.

The event is free, and family and friends are more than welcome to attend. A voucher for free parking will be provided for participants (note that these vouchers are only available for performers).

Most of the repertoire is available here from Sylvia Woods Harp Center. Skater’s Waltz and Away in a Manger Melodies are available from Harp Column Music or from Pax Harp Music. Triptic Dance is now available online from Vanderbilt Music. Contact Elaine (contact information below) for a free copy of “Christmas Time, Vol. I”.

You can see some photos from last year’s Holiday Harp Extravaganza XXVI (2024).
